먼저 미국 내의 아시안 교회는 그들이 가지고 있는 문화적 특성, 관습과 언어가 다르다. 목회자는 이러한 사회적 상황들을 잘 이해하고 존중하는 방식으로 성도들에게 접근을 해야 한다. 오랜 역사를 가진 아시아 사람들에게는 문화적인 교류와 사회적인 문제와 관심사에 대한 실천적 대응은 관계 구축에 중요한 역활을 한다.
목회자는 지속적인 성장과 훈련을 통해 전문성과 지도력을 개발하고 역량을 향상시켜야 한다. 각 커뮤니티가 가지고 있는 특성을 지역사회와 상황에 맞게 발전하고 성장할 수 있도록 적절한 전략을 개발하고 적용할 수가 있어야 한다.
이런 특수한 상황과 환경을 고려해서 기독교적 세계관을 확립하고 넓혀가는 것이 아시안 교회의 방향성이 될 것이다.
